The traditional built environment reflects the remarkable impact of social and cultural values on architecture and urban planning. The question now is; “how can these factors be re-utilized in contemporary developments instead of the negative impact of imported alien approaches.
Issam Ezzeddine, Design Director – Head of Architecture, for NEB, will talk about how he foresee the future trends in architecture. How designers need to re-read the history and how natural materials could be re-adopted in buildings today.
Ali Maarrawi, General Manager Middle East, for Cosentino Group, will discuss the comparison between natural and manmade stone. Its shortcomings and limitations.
We will explore different application possibilities with stone.
