The Abdulrahman Al Sudairy Cultural Center (AACC) in collaboration with Al Faisal University presents a conference on The Future of Architecture in Saudi Arabia, to be held on Feb 8-10. Programming includes the announcement of an international architecture competition, panel discussions, a creative networking session by Banafsajeel, an architectural documentation workshop by Minhaj, as well as a two week-long exhibition organized by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). All activities are free of charge.
The Dar Al-Uloum Initiative started as a renovation project for the Dar Al-Uloum Library in Sakaka, Al Jouf. The library is the headquarters and the oldest building under the Abdulrahman Al Sudairy Cultural Center. Built in 1978, the library is in need of repair, both to maintain the quality of service provided to the community as well as revise its uses and functions in response to the needs of today.
