In a world undergoing tremendous change accelerated by a global pandemic of unprecedented scale, the human assault on the environment continues to place future generations in jeopardy. Architects must once more reinforce efforts towards designing sustainable built environments at all scales, especially in an increasingly digitizing & automating world. This pursuit is paramount at this critical juncture in history in a region tackling harsh desert environments, decreasing freshwater supplies, and increasingly polluted air. The jury will take heed of original design solutions that advance strategies to respond to the region's environment and utilize innovative technologies towards a more sustainable built environment.

The AIA Middle East Chapter is now accepting entries for the 2024 AIA Middle East Design Awards.

The deadline for receipt of the Entry Form and Payment is October 25, 2024 before 11:59 pm Gulf Standard Time.

The deadline for receipt of the Award Submission is November 01, 2024 before 11:59 pm Gulf Standard Time.

The AIA Middle East Chapter's annual design awards program recognizes excellence in architecture, interior architecture, urban design and unbuilt projects undertaken by our Chapter's members, Because such recognition not only benefits the architects honored but also benefits all architects, AIA Middle East strives to optimize the public's awareness and appreciation for the Awards Program through appropriate public relations efforts.

The AIA Middle East Awards Program is a function solely of AIA Middle East and participation in the program is limited to its current members.
