Many cities are undergoing rapid transformation, experiencing urban erasures (tabula rasa), following the global trend of 'gentrification'. Calling from figures such as the British anarchist writer, Colin Ward; how can spaces be imagined through the re-composition of the city?
The lecture will explore the technique of spatial-generation through the re-composition of cities such as London, into a series of architectural sections and axonometrics that are cut, spliced, and reassembled.
